Yes I have that too, but I'm still looking forward to downloading this. Why? The emulation for MM on that disc is terrible, as is well-document on Wikipedia and elsewhere. Even if you don't have it freeze on you or drop your save data, the framerate is not as high as the original, and the music has issues throughout. In particular, the threat of it freezing or killing your saved "owl" data, though, is particularly bad for a game like this one with the 3-day structure.

I read about those problems but I've never encountered them, it makes me believe that only a certain number of them or perhaps a certain region had the problems.
It has much better resolution than the original.

Framerate will always be more important than resolution (except when taking screenshots), which is why those high-res videos of SSBB that were posted recently looked absolutely horrible to me.
I never understood the obsession with trying to bump up the resolution of older console games through emulation; it just doesn't make sense, since the models, textures, etc were all built with the original resolution in mind. It can make a game look even more artificial if you have simpler models and textures showing within a higher resolution. As long as you are playing on a standard definition TV, which smoothes out all the edges anyway, it's best to stick with the original, or bump it up only slightly and only if there is zero impact on the framerate.
