Forums - Nintendo - VC Arcade with IR

It's Solvalou which came out in the Japanese Arcade update last Wednesday.
Runs fluid and I think it's pretty cool.

Future posibilities: Duck Hunt anyone?

Duck Hunt would be really awesome :)

I was hoping they made Arcade IR enabled. Now I hope they release all those great on-rails arcades that were popular in the 90s (i.e. Terminator, Jurassic Parck, etc.)

The Wii is going to be the onrails machine to have.

I keep expecting a Duck Hunt, probably at E3.

Duck Hunt should not be that tough.

I swear I've seen it in flash for the Wii -- that uses the IR as a mouse-like device.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

For Duck Hunt you would need an extra option for calibration so you don't see the pointer.

That's freakin' hawwwwt. Now I want to see some classic arcade lightgun games like Area 51 and Virtua Cop.
