For me it's Gameplay >>Music >> Length >> Graphics.

Very important, but not as much as gameplay for me...

But if a game really has bad music, I won;t play it much.

if it wasn't for the music final fantasy wouldn't be so popular nowadays.
each time they announce a new final fantasy the first thing that comes in my mind is that awesome music .can't wait to hear FFXIII and vs XIII soundtrack.

That's totally truth... although I would find better samples (somehow I have some problem with Uematsu... he's good, I would never say the contrary... although I think he's overrated, and although the best on the technical side, it lacks some feeling).

A good music in a video game should be the one we don't even notice is there (unless we really want to notice it, of course). It simply sounds natural. And in most Final Fantasys, that happens.

I disagree. Generally, I like having a "wow, that's awesome" when the music changes (into something new). Then tapping my foot and kinda moving in flow with the music. I definitely like noticing it (but maybe I fall into the category that wants to?)

I love the music in Galaxy, but Okami has a completely forgotten sound track.

Okami

To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made.  I won't open my unworthy mouth.

I actually agree with Nordlead here. The only thing that wasn't top-notch quality in Okami was the music. It's a decent soundtrack (and I prefer it over most games), but compared to Zelda, Fire Emblem and SMG it completely pales.

Music is an after thought. Care about it even less than graphics.

Gameplay is the only thing that really matters. If gameplay is good & the others aren't i will still like the game.

If gameplay sux & other 2 are awesome, the game is still shit.

I wouldn't necessarily include SMG in that list as it's just remixes of older songs in quite a few places, but Zelda and Fire Emblem obliterate Okami in music.  I can remember dozens of memorable songs from them whereas I can remember maybe one from Okami.

 Tell me. What is gameplay?

What is graphics?

If you can't answer that, what you just said is meaningless.

And Appolose.

Your marvellous argument turned me over. That well written post, with good reasoning, made me realize the truth.

Truth be told, I am shocked that  people (3, here) find Okami's soundtrack not all that great.  I, for one, have found it to be the absolute best compilation of music ever on a game (I think it better than most (if not all) non-game music, even).  And I certainly think it better than SMG's (which, to be honest, while I thought was good, wasn't all that good).  And definitely better than Zelda.  While both certainly have catchy tunes, beauty like Okami they have not.
