Well I`m still keeping my fingers crossed. Im sure they will not disappoint, just as long as its not more DLC or JRPGs that is.

Was that confirmed? I saw that on a French website, but I'd never trust the French. Nice. Though I guess it was pretty much an open secret. |
Not even Sony's division in France? Those were the ones who announced it after all

Do YOU realise Microsoft announce Gears 2 last GDC?

You do realize that Epic made significant upgrades to the UE3 engine and they showed those upgrades of via Gears 2 at GDC.

@ Xen )
But that also confirms that there is nothing until E3, huh? Well, I guess 360-fans can use the time to save some money to have deep enough pockets for the inevitably crowded holiday-time.

None the less they announce Gears 2.
while yes microsoft certainly needs to show some new info on their exsclusive titles there is still tons of amazing multi-plats coming out for it. Kotaku just posted an article that Molyneux basically all but confirms Fable III and hints tha the DLC coming out for Fable II in the next couple weeks will "Show what is going to happen to the future of Albion and it will be BIG." so hopefully we'll hear something about that tomorrow.

I guess. Because I know I'll be broke by then.
Have patience. GDC is not the best place to unload your upcoming games. That's what E3 is for. I think all 3 platform holders will announce some interesting things there. If MS announces Forza 3(which is likely), Alan Wake, or Splinter Cell for 2009 it will greatly fortify the announced library.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
They really need to show something soon, I agree. And before someone says "That's what you were all saying last year", that isn't really true. This time last year we knew about Gears 2, Fable 2, Banjo, Left 4 Dead, Ninja Gaiden 2 etc. Every major game in their 2008 lineup. Whereas now, we only know about Halo ODST. And the possibility of Alan Wake.
And I don't see why they would wait for E3 to reveal their major '09 games, that only gives a few months for the hype to build up. Look at last years E3- the only games they announced and released for the holidays were Lips, You're in the Movies and Scene It. So I would expect something very soon in regards to major AAA titles. Hopefully.
