I think having more appealing games to a wide audience would help sales more than a 70 dollar price drop. The drop would help but, what's a handheld system without good games?

Nope definitely not. The DS is just a much better overall system, IMO.

I just bought a PSP (well kind of, I bought a Red PSP-3000 and gave it to my girlfriend and took her old Blue PSP-1000 from her ;-p) and it's basically been sitting around my place. I still use my DS Lite a lot more than the PSP.
