I won't use that term.

The SMT series already rivals FF and has the better combined line-up in my book. What sets FF apart from other JRPGs is it's budget. No other JRPG dev has that kind of money so FF would continue to be the prettiest by a mile and stand out because of all the extra stuff.

Years ago leading up this gen I used to get all excited when I heard of a Final Fantasy game on the horizon or any Square game for that matter.

Nowadays I couldn't care less. It is truly sad though because for the last 17+ years Square was my absolute favorite.

Comparing the Square and Enix from the 90's to the new one is kinda sad. They became so greedy and forgot about making new customers

.. i dont see why they are "TRAITORS!" since they are third party devs and i dont see why Sony fans find them as such.
Tho it IS true that they are going downhill lately most of their games are Cliche. tho we hope for "the best is yet to come", SO4 was a let down it had alot of weird voice acting and cliche story, The Last Remnant was weird, Infnite Undiscovery was ... dont know how to describe it, im looking forward for Final Fantasy , and i hope i wont be let down since its my favorite series.
