but sony did end up with the strongest year of the two. Atleast according to major media outlets.

I'm on the same boat... my ps2 died around the time the ps3 launched.
Frankly at this point a pc with pcsx2 is looking like the best option =/
Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).
Still not understanding why you did not get the 360 as a compliment to your ps3? I would have gotten a wii over the 360 seeing how 89% percent of 360 games are multiplats and are already available on the ps3. Each his own, I think it was quite a leap of faith seeing the software difference that both consoles will be getting this year alone (ps3>360 on exclusives in 2009). Final fantasy 13 may release in japan this year and you could have imported it and got to play it before anyone with a 360 would have. Smash brothers, mario galazy, and legend of Zelda would have been a better alternative to the exclusives that are on the 360 (IMOB). But congrats on your new platform.

His PS3 died so he would have to shell out another 150$ to have it repaired.

you should get the all the games made by rare. viva pinata,banjo kazooie; nuts and bolts,perect dark zero, and kameo. they are all great games. and most of them should be pretty cheap.
Me and my boy just finished Kameo. It was a suprisingly good game considering it was one of the first games to hit the 360.
Banjo and Kazooie he liked but for all the wrong reasons and I found it frustrating. Viva Pinata is a little gem for sure. Not played Perfect Dark Zero, but on the face of it Rare games are all pretty much good stacks up.

I hear this one is really good. It wireless-n and the same price as M$ proprietary adapter
These numerous attachments are what keeps me from getting a 360. Good thing that most of the 360 exclusives I want seem destined for multiplat (NG at last!). I wish we could just pay $200 and be done with it

@ outlawauron are u talking about the MS one thats 100$ thats the one im thinking of buying so everything will be made by MS on my 360

lulz your old sony mates are getting pretty darn angry. Though to be honest I think you made the right choice. I have both and while I am excited for some of Sony' games I have to be honest and say that to this day they haven't been able to match the 360's overall lineup. Enjoy your xbox and I hopefully will see you on live soon. Oh and the wireless adaptor is like the is super easy to hook up. All it does is plug into the back and finds your router. I play my 360 completley across the house from the router with like 6 walls between it and I get zero lag at all.
