because there is no Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ;)

If it was to release on the Wii, and we assume that it will be better than Call of Duty: WaW due to the developer, why would it sell less than Call of Duty:WaW? Also not only less, but less than half of Call of Duty:WaW's lifetime sales.

I think it is fair to predict that this game is going to be huge.

Chances are it's gonna sell 10 million +.

Case is, Call of Duty might be the best selling franchise this gen, after Mario, "Wii" and Brain Training.

I believe it's gonna sell 10M +. Well, to be frank, 9M +. Anything beyond that will just be wild speculations from me. 10-11M seems most likely.

Look at the 2 previous CoDs (the real CoDs, 2 & 3 on X360 are before the boom, and do not count). Ps360 only.

CoD 4: 11.3M

CoD: WaW: 8.3M (and still selling 75K/week)

CoD is this gen's GTA.

Xbox 360 LTD: 8.2 Million
PS3 LTD: 5.00 Million

Total: 13.2 Mill

I don't expect a Wii release.

OT: I expect huge numbers from both consoles.

Over 1 million first week on the 360 and 800k first week on the PS3.

Considering this game will most likely be the most hyped this christmas...
MS + Sony should avertise it to the fullest...
Bring back the CoD to the name + will make extra sales.
