An argument could be made that that sequence isn't actually canonical, since it's just an Easter Egg. Yes, this is important, because every word is effected by the assumption that that scene actually happens.

I don't know why it is so hard for people to either black it out or put a nice big ass "SPOILER!" followed by a few lines of emptiness before spitting out information like that.

I agree.....people ruined the Bioshock ending for me that way

He'll cave eventually.  It'll probably be Trico that does it, along with the help of God of War III.

If I could afford it, I'd own one already.

I am not one to forget things very much either, so even if I went back to putting that game on my list a year from now I will still know all that was just written in this thread.

Once he mentioned "Castle sinks behind them" I knew my experience in the game was done for.

ICO is such a old game, you should play it so you dont worrie about spoillers

It's still worth a playthrough.  There are still so many moments, so many great experiences from the game that he hasn't effected at all!
