Konami games.  What was really neat about the first MGS was that if you had saved data from Castlevania SOTN and the first Suikoden on your memory card, Psycho Mantis will mention one of those titles in conversation.

No, altough there is nothing big coming from Konami, and perhaps this would be the right time to anounce some there 'big' games.

I know, I was just referring to past Kojima games used as posters and desktop backgrounds in MGS4.

Anyone know what the US/EU sales were for the first 2 titles?

I doubt the game sold incredibly well, if anything this game probably won't have a huge budget (if it is even in development).

If it released I could see it as more of a fan service.

At least that is what I would hope.

Didn't the PS3 fanboys claimed something similar for games like Ace Combat, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Tekken, etc...?  But even more similar, games like Katamari, Culdcept, and Star Ocean were not as well known which only had 360 releases until the recent announcement of Katamari.  Besides, your claim isn't logical with "I guess 3rd parites and Sony have decided to lose money together."  If it's to loose money on the PS3 while not being familiar on the 360 userbase, why make the game at all?  Hmmm....
