23. [PSP] Brandish: Dark Revenant (Nihon Falcom) - 8,500 / NEW

Brandish almost got outsold by Resistance? Really Japan? I don't think Brandish bombing on the PSP is going to affect Falcom's decision with Ys but the Brandish was dead for like 13 years, I really hope they don't abort any plans to revive it as a stable franchise again just because the PSP remake couldn't sell.

I wonder how X360 JRPG devs feel when they see these numbers. I hope they really got lots of money from MS.
They should have gone all the way to the Wii, then all the way to PS3 after FF13 will be out.

Bokal - Do you think a company bases their decisions off of 1 week of sales data?

Sony is still 'doomed' in Japan since there's a 4 million + unit gap in the country, and Sony hasn't managed to close the gap very quickly. Even if Sony kept outselling the Wii at the pace it has this entire year....Well, it'd never happen, because the Wii is still beating the PS3 on the year. The PS3 is certainly better off in terms of marketshare this year than it was last year. However, that doesn't change the fact that the Wii is still the lead console in Japan, and elsewhere, while the PS3 is still in 3rd place in both PAL and NA territories.

Ps3 another week above wii, 360 not so good, Monster hunter 2nd is indeed a Monster.

Remember that the ps3 is 3rd because of the price, if the ps3 has the same price of the 360 ($199.99-$299.99) it would be a different story, but with the 2 model that ps3 has ($399.99-$499.99) i think they are doing really great.

Wii: 65k from 8m

X360 and PS3 both going to hit their next million this week. Hopefully we'll get early numbers for them from Famitsu on Tuesday.
