| Khuutra said: "The Japs"? What the Hell is this, 1944? Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Could you be more culturally insensitive if you tried? @FinalEvangelion: How do you manage to pigeonhole Western culture as badly as the OP pigeonholes the Japanese? It is breathtaking. |
If you are going to market a product, isn't it important to see what different cultures prefer? This is a sales site, so we should be able to see trends and discuss them.
I guess I could say "FPS-oriented" games.
I didn't really read the OP except for the title and realized it's racist nature. I lived about 50 miles from Nagasaki for a while and been to both Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There really isn't that much grudge against USA. On another note, Starbucks was awesome in Japan.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
