wrpgs in my opinion are a diferent genre with slaves, killing inocent people, rapes(comming soon), crappy main characters , etc like gta, but with swords or lazer guns |
But boys with questionable sexuality and games that have the same story in everygame equal a good game?

Other games also have killing innocent people, slaves, etc. As for the crappy main characters, many WRPGs are character-driven. You are the main character; you shape him up the way you want to unlike JRPGs. WRPGS are true RPGS.

The game was enjoyable for the most part but I thought it had a bit too many of those dream sequences. They were well written I will admit but took me away from the main story too much, I really couldn't care less about Kaim's backstory. I actually skipped past majority of them. Once I reached the 4th disc the game just kind of died off for me. I just got the White Boa(?) and if I played right now I probably wouldn't know where to go.
As for Vesperia being goofy, that is why I enjoy it so much. I like a serious JRPG here and there (trust me, I have played many) but Vesperia just feels so nice. The thing I would say I enjoy most about it is that it isn't trying to be too serious and I just love the art style. I would prefer more games to be made in a graphical style mimicing games like Valkyria and/or Vesperia.

I'm the opposite in regards to LO. I thought Kiam's back story is what made the game. The main story was fairly generic (though not dissapointing) and without Kiam's back story, the character depth would not have been as good and I'd have been much less attached to the characters.
I haven't played Vesperia (not out in PAL regions yet) so I can't comment on if LO or ToV is better.
@carl2291 you dont directly kill an inocent npc in those games and for wrpgs i like diablo and the first hours of mass effect. about remakes i miss ps1 remakes like chrono trigger or ff6 with tons of fmvs or anime secuences. that is how you make a remake

i agree jrpgs need to improve, but no by becomming wfps , sorry wrpgs.(

Ohhhh i think im starting to understand what you mean, but in the WRPG games it gives you the choice of wether you want to kill the innocent and be evil, or leave them be/save them and be good. Another thing what places WRPGs above JRPGs is the fact that you can create your own character.
Diablo is epic, and Mass Effect is the best RPG of any kind so far this gen. With the remake bit i thought you ment you did'nt want a remake of any game.
I almost pulled out my "Big Book of Final Fantasy 7 Love" and quoted a few special lines...

It is all personal preference, some love LO and some like it but don't think it is great. I am one who would rather a character's backstory be told through the regular storyline than through little stories like they did with LO. The core gameplay style of LO I loved. I am a big fan of turn-based style similar to that of Final Fantasy games prior to FFXII.
It was mainly the storyline later in the game that began pushing me away.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

@carl2291 yes, you can create you own character, but you loose your "sentimental" conection with your character in the process. compare your main character from diablo to cloud from ff7 for example. and about ff7 remake if they make one , ff7 universe needs to end there once and for all (cloud and tifa get married, barret and sephirot get married, cid comes out of the closet, etc)

I didn't liked the level up system in LO.
It also didn't helped that I had a hard time fighting the first boss X_X. (stupid bird).
But that could be because I am a noob =p.
