Sega has one truly excellent division--Overworks/WOW.

They've made Skies of Arcadia, Sakura Taisen, and now Valkyria Chronicles.

As much as I hate to admit this, if the game had trophies I'm sure many more would jump on it. If that's what it takes to get people hooked and realize what they're missing, fine by me.

That doesn't mean I can't poke fun at trophy whores converts in the future.

I'm happy with VC as it is, but I'm sure a bit more exposure and, yes, Trophies, would help it.  Since Trophies are becoming mandatory I feel for some they act as a division between early games and true new games.

Sadly I think VC has ended up in the exclusive club of great titles that didn't sell well - at least it's got good company if nothing else.

 



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Yeah I really hope for Valkyria to become the new Sakura Taisen thanks to the anime, at least the franchise has already gathered a strong fanbase.

I do as well. 

I actually finished the Sakura Taisen anime fairly recently.  I enjoyed it a lot.  It managed to be exactly what it appeared--a fun drama/action/comedy with mecha.
