Forums - Gaming - Has a game ever made you cry?

No, not yet so far for me. Many movies have though.

Anything with Van Damme in it makes me cry, usually.

"Who wants to go home and who want to go WITH ME??!!"

-cheers-

Which is it? Maybe they all just wanted to go home.

@ the mgs4 part at the end, wow, TRULY EPIC, almost but naww, however playing mortal kombat on genesis AFTER GETTING OWNED MY THE BOSS, AND MATARO THE HALF horse/man i cried lol

fighting games are meant to make you frustrated

You read me like a book. Mortal Kombat II was not meant for the short temper of a 9 year old.

somebody finally understands

You should be beaten, burned to ashes then someone should throw your ashes from a plane

I don't really think a game can make me cry, movies is another whole story. But a game.... not really. I get nostalgic when i play old games that I used to play when i was a kid, but that's about it

nope but super ghouls n ghost almost made me cry as a kid

Only FFVII.
The first MGS when Fox died had me pretty choked up too. Liquid just squashed him like a bug. I was so shocking.

Hmmm, you're right. Some of those dreams were very well written. It was like reading a good book.

Some books can make you cry, right? Well, that's one of them! =P

It seems like some of you guys are too rational. Sure, sometimes you can't compare the story in some games to real life ones, but what if it could happen to you or whatever? Movies usually portray stories that could happen, thus why some people get attached more easily to what's being shown on screen. I think games can do just that, though you just need to be open a bit and imagine yourself more into the universe a game is trying to portray.

That made sense, right? o_O

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

That one.  Sora and Kairi have the best romantic relationship in the game world--seeing them separated made me cry, especially set to Simple and Clean.  Made worse by the fact that the sequels hadn't been announced yet.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Nope. I was however really sad when I reached the end of OoT. I couldn't believe such an epic adventure was over.
