yes i did...and the price was the reason

Charts suggest that XB360 kept XB1 user base and "stole" ~6million PS2 gamers and it's quite likely that adding other former PS2 gamers and gaining brand new gamers that didn't own previous gen consoles, it will almost double its current user base by its end of life, but the vast majority of those that decided to "betray" Sony are going to Wii. All competitors will do well once reduced their costs, anyway, as current sales suggest that this gen will sell easily more than 250million consoles.

 Exactly and by the time the PS3 came out, I looked at the titles and based off of that I stated it's not even worth the $599 that Kaz spewed out of his god forsaken mouth. Consoles are not valued by me for how powerful they are; it's the games that cause it to be more valuable. Kaz can't tell me when to buy a damn thing.

I was a PS2 owner and went with 360 for this gen. Main reasons were price and also all my friends have 360, so hearing their good recommendations and also being able to play with them on Live, it was a no brainer to switch brands. But to be honest, I was saving for a PS3 when 360 had a great price drop and I was able to go next gen and save tons of money...

What about all the people who still only own PS2s? Many people don't own a current generation console. I seem to remember a Neilson survey last year, and the ps2 still had way more usage than any current gen console in 2008. If that many people bought a current gen console, wouldn't that number be considerably lower?
