If you bought it used then, whats the wattage on the power brick? It will help identify the generation of console.

i cant seem to locate the wattage on the brick, but im not even sure if the power brick goes with the actual console.. i have had this happen like four times already. wouldnt the serial number help too?

this cat is too lazy, it sits all day staring
Just look on the back of the console for the AMP raiting. 16.5A = oldest revisions, 14.2A = Falcon. You'll find it with the console serial number.
