well UK invented mother's day so why isn't it today everywhere?!

The rest of the world tried to hold off this commercial excrement of vile misguided love but in the end, mothers started bitching everywhere about them doing all the chores bla bla and we too capitulated after a 2 month  struggle.

The obligatory card, some sented talcum powder, Dark side of the Moon and Led Zeppelin IV.

Because it's more convenient like this. For us, it's better spaced:

-Noche de Reyes in January
-Easter in March/April
-Father's Day in June (3rd sunday)
-Children's day in August (2nd sunday)
-Mother's Day in October (3rd sunday)
-Xmas/New Year's Eve in December

I guess it allows more sales
