L.A. Noire, the retro mystery open world title, was originally given a 2009 release date. Oddly enough, Take 2 has not included L.A. Noire in its 2009 release schedule.

“On its latest release schedule for the 2009 fiscal year, LA Noire – the title originally announced as a PS3 exclusive – was notably absent.”

Perhaps this is just some posturing to give BioShock 2 the press buzz it deserves.  Otherwise, we might not see this title until 2010.

People are still holding out that this is a real title? When was the last time Take Two even commented on it, 2007?

Edit: to Jesus-Yeah it's going to be multiplatform. Here's from back in 2007 regarding the title:

The financial report also stated that fellow Take-Two title LA Noire is due out in fiscal 2008. The spokesperson suggested that both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases are likely, stating, "LA Noire is being developed for next-generation systems."

La Noire will join GT 5, God of War III and FFXIII Versus and FFXIII in 2010. Maybe 2010 could be year of PS3 - it has some good exclusive games coming out in 2010.

well with this year looking like the year of the ps3 and last year being it too.. why not. Should just be called years of the ps3 soon though.

I'm happy, too many games to play this year MW 2 and Uncharted 2 are all that I want!
