How come this game is getting bashed, but others aren't?

Now that Miis are here, this kind of thing is less of a problem on Wii. But before I had bought a Wii, I had NEVER played as a black person before.

For most games, it's not racism, it comes down simply to the fact that black people are really uncommon in Japan, where many games are made.

But anyway, how come nobody complained about Animal Crossing or Pokemon Battle Revolution?

I just popped in the game (I rented it), yup. Can only be white and more white. Although you can make your shoes black for the girls...that's about it.

Well that was a stupid oversight (at least, I hope it was an oversight). I was never interested in the game, but I would have hated to have bought it and had a character creation process where the choices can't even come close to resembling my skintone.

the game is probably trying to convey the lifestyle of rich white kids with personalities as deep as kiddie pools and take drugs to deal with their parents loving the smell of thier own farts so much, seriously all the faces look pretty high

Eh who cares. This game sucks...the level of customization for the faces as it is sucks anyway...the missing black or brown colors is just another bad thing. I think if this problem appeared on a game that's actually good otherwise, then it'd be bad.
