I'll go for Madworld because even if the style make it niche I find it personally more appealing. I also think that there is a good fanbase for "punk" kind of game on Wii.

Seriously what would you choose between a hard boiler balck and white smoking dude and a horny secretary looking fighter?? (Hum maybe that was not the best question to ask...)

Anyway I think both will end up beeing great games. I'll probably buy Bayonetta if it is as good as Madworld when I'll buy a PS3 someday.

Bayonetta is multiplat...so that. Even though the Wii is basically both the userbases combined...

Both are quite good games, but Bayonetta is multiplat, also has a better week realese than Madworld. Also it'll be interesting to see if Madworld has "Wii-legs"

Hum sorry then, I though Bayonetta was PS3 only. I would compare Madworld sales with each version. This way, Bayonetta will probably have better sales if you compare madwolrd with both platform combined. However I think that Madworld will do a bit better from each version separated.

My bet are Madworld 650 000

This is gonna be very tight. The only reason I see Bayonetta outselling Madworld by a huge margin is because of a better all around quality. Something like an above 90% on gamerankings.

Madworld is a perfect example of why some third party developers are scared of making a game for the wii.

Im gunna buy bayonetta. Simply put the creator of DMC and RE will alaways get my bet. Also the game is on systems that have other games in its genre have good success ie (DMC4, NGS, Heavenly Sword, and NG2).

Bayonnetta looks to have a fresh style to the genre pushing it forward till god of war 3 shows up either late this year or early next year.

Bayonetta. I could be wrong but I always thought Bayonetta is DMC with a cool chick lead. We all know a game with a cool chick sells better than a game with a cool guy!

Considering it's been out for 1 week, and Wii games have ridiculous legs, MadWorld may prove to be a good example as to why developers need to make games for the Wii.
