I can't believe how utterly shit this game is. I rented if for £6 and it's still an utter waste of money. I tried playing it 'splitscreen' with my girlfriend, and it was like trying to play the game through the wrong end of a telescope. Why are the screens so small? Why, on a 42 inch 1080p HDTV can I barely see what I'm doing? Why the fudge is there so much black space which couldve been used?

Then after being axed by zombies countless times, we figured we weren't enjoying it much so we wanted to change the difficulty down one (to Amateur, yes I know, I'm rubbish) but no can do. There's no option to change it in-game - there's not even an option to in the main menu. And the font is horrible, the in-game menus are threadbare and the controls are stupid. And it's hard as nails. I beat Resi 4 on Hard but I couldn't pass the first chapter without me or Sheva dying repeatedly, in first player or multi. And then you have to wait while the 4-second clip of zombies hacking you loads. Again. And the loading is too fast (!), there's no possible way to read the history stuff before it's gone.

What a rotten, moulding turd of a videogame, desecrating my PS3 with it's filthy filthy awfulness.

Your opinion ceased to matter to me when you wrote your topic title. RE5 is actually good, and you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. I'm serious, not trolling, you're ignorant, and I disrespect you.

RE5 is the kind of game you either love or hate. And there is no need for threads about it every single freaking hour.

I loved Resident Evil 4, one of my favourite games, and on PS2 as well so it's not like i've been spoilt by Wii controls.

I'm sorry, it's my opinion and I stand by it.

RE5 isn't bad, it's just disapointing in the sense that it's almost exactly like RE4, but it's by no means a 'bad' game.

I loved RE4 and I really enjoyed RE5. Although I feel that the removing of the merchant and the suitcase system is a step backwards! Also, Sheva's AI is just plain stupid and in the later chapters it feel more Gears of War-esque then RE-esque.

Which I think is not that good actually! Wesker's final battle was also ~meh~ and the ending totally sucked! I dislike the lack of storyline in this game and RE4 did a better job at that!

However; I still think RE5 is worthy of an 8.8 and I really enjoyed the whole experience! Also; The game is really on it's own in its class!

It's not RE5's fault you suck at playing it. You're only up to the first chapter, start it again on easy FFS.

still havent got it, but ive been hearing very mixed reviews, the controls in the demo were awful, if the full game's control's are that bad, then i'd like to know, so i can avoid it

This is the only complaint ive ever heard about the loading been too fast. If you wanna read the history then beat the game and unlock it.

Maybe if the game is "too hard" for you + your girlfriend why dont you buy something like, say... LBP? Singstar? And PLEASE stop bitching about how you dont like the game because your not good enough?
