Killzone 2 was stated countless times to be a system mover on this forum.. Sony itself made several press releases calling it a system mover. A simple search will reveal that.

The fact is, PS3 sales have only exceeded Xbox 360 sales for one week this year. That was the week Killzone 2 was released. Was a system mover that week? Of course.. but last week and this week's sales indicate that the PS3 does not have any long-term momentum due to Killzone 2.

Of course, the Japan numbers have not been released yet.. but does it matter? The Japanese buy far fewer consoles than America and Others and even the huge lead the PS3 has over there has not put it ahead worldwide. When the Japanese numbers are released, the 360 will still lead.

Why? Because PS3 outsold 360 for a single week.. when people were expecting a long-term shift in the console race.

Also it's great that RE5 for the PS3 sold well its first week but with all this gloating taking place on the PS3 fans side you should know it's going to bite you in the ass when the 360 version passes it in world wide sales. Stop giving the 360 fans ammo and enjoy the damn game.

Did you honestly expect 1 game to take a $400-$500 console and propel it to permanent boosted sales that match and/or exceed the sales of a console just about half the price?
