My mother used my DSL for TWEWY and beat the living s*** out of my touchscreen. It still works fine but man is it beat up. It almost sounds like a chalkboard everytime I run the stylus across it.

I have Pokemon Platinum and want to play it and I am sure it has some new parts that require use of the touchscreen and I don't want my ears to bleed.

Is it possible to change out the touchscreen without needed to replace the entire DSL housing? Or could a screen protector solve this issue as well?

Putting on a screen protector helps. Plus Pokemon barely needs you to use the touch screen much, you'll be fine.

Sorry but it has zero to do with Nintendo at all.

She began like this with Silent Hill on the PS1 and PS2.

Only Nintendo game(s) she plays is Zelda and now TWEWY.
