I think life times sales will probably favor the 360. I actually saw the 360 RE5 ad last night to promote the bundle. Good sales for the game overall, capcom should be very happy.

Very nice sales. Capcom predicted what, 2.3 million sales or something? I think sales will be past that mark on week two, and that's a sellthrough amount. Bravo.

Well you have to wait for the States to chime in. The PS3 has the advantage because Resident Evil 5 is such a big game in Japan and the PS3 has such a bigger and preferred install base in Japan that the Japanese are going to buy it on the PS3, and they did.

However in NA and Others the 360 version will win, but the game isn't as big in those regions.

Why will 360 win in Others after losing the first week?

Across the PS2, GC & Wii: RE4 sold over 6m units worldwide (does not include PC sales).

Lets see how RE5 does in comparison - its going to be hard to put RE5 on any other consoles, at least in the short term...

I think will see something like DMC4 in terms that they will be very close when it's all said and done although this time a small edge to X360 cus of the US sales
