well, i have been working on it for about five months total so far (i started april 2007 when pearl/diamond came out), and i am finally so so close. i only need four more pokemon: lugia, darkrai, shaymin, and arcaeus. i am working on xd right now, should have lugia in a week, and i am getting darkrai and shaymin some time this week. i just have to wait for the nintendo event for the last one. =]! yay! im trying to catch all of them before platinum comes out. as soon as i get to a poke center in platinum, all my pokemon are going there. im going to catch a shitload of bidoofs and starlys and trade them for all the 492 pokemon i have on pearl. lol! oh yea, i also have like 10 level 100 pokemon:

ninetales
kabutops
zapdos
mewtwo
blaziken
milotic
salamence
metagross

cant wait till platinum comes out. oh yea, one last thing, i also caught every unown a-z plus the question mark and exclamation point
