Forums - Website Topics - Is this the only website of its kind?

Is VGChartz one of a kind, in counting game sales on a weekly basis (or counting game sales at all)?

only one i know of

There were several others, actually, when I started coming here in 2006. I actually kept all three sites bookmarked to see how their numbers changed and I found pretty quickly that VGC's numbers seemed the most logical and not just based around a counter.

At that time the forum was much smaller, harder to find, and just not that big of a focus. The other sites were nexgenwars.com (which still seems to exist) and one other that I thought was called Console Wars but can't seem to find.

There are sites like this but they are nowhere near as accurate, and almost all of them aren't up anymore.

nexgenwars?

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

The only one I know of. It's great to have a website to depend on when it comes to sales.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

I don't know if it got taken down, but the sales weren't tracked randomly. In fact they went up in a relatively constant manner, since they used an algorithm. I think the owner used to readjust the numbers, and the algorithm, everytime the 3 released their shipment numbers, but I stopped going there a while ago.

The only one that is addicting!!!
