Wii has topped SNES shipments in 2 years (2007-2008) and 4 months (Dec 06, + 1/2 Nov 06, Jan 09, Feb 09, 1/2 March 09) if we assume Nintendo is shipping a fairly constant of machines, and meets its March 2009 goals.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
Read the article...but yeah in six months Wii should outship NES.
So Wii will top NES, SNES, N64, GC in less than three years as Wii doesn't turn 3 until November 2009

The Wii may outsell the Snes but I still find the Snes a way better console even if it didn't sold that much.
