Think about it, Sony needs a kiddy Mascot.

Nintendo has Mario
SEGA has Sonic
Microsoft has Viva Pinata Characters

Other than Sackboy, we have Ratchet and Clank.

OT: I don't think the sackboy is overused as of yet. Sony is still trying to make him the de facto mascot. After he becomes that, then I think it's fair to judge. However, with the way Crash and Spyro were handled, I would not be surprised to see him greatly overused. But, if he's has great games..........does it really matter?

 

I know.  It's not like we're getting Sackboy tv shows yet, now are we?

Cameos in games are cool , btw you guys dont know they also used Super Rub n Dub duckies in other games? there is one on Heavenly Sword.

Yet. He hasn't had a TV show yet. But one day, he might reach that level where he can star in multiple TV shows, movies and games........like that hedgehog dude.

A handful of cameos isn't even beginning to approach over-exposure. If anything, we need more Sackboy because he's just that awesome :P
