I forgot to add this before, is that image of agent ford in-game?

I don't think so.... after all it's an FPS with not many cut-scenes.

It could be in some pre-rendered scenes I suppose.

Or they could have simply detachedthe camera and put him ina cool pose just for the purposes of screenshots.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Now High Voltage is comparing the Conduit's story to Star Wars.

I'll leave it at that.

I didn't see any comparisons there.

All I read was that they were saying all anyone knows about the story is the basic plot so far, which yes is generic, but many great basic plots are. In other words he is saying we don't know enough about the story to judge how good it is yet.

Okay. That's better. They were just insulting Star Wars and calling it generic.

That's much different.  :p

Yep.  A generic story that was a cultural phenomenon and changed the entire landscape of how movies are made.

No problems here... man.

Star Wars (at least the originals) is a classic hero's tale.  Boy from humble origins, rescues princess, struggles with good and evil, prevails against all odds, defeats the evil.

It's the subtleties that make it stand out.

I mean, Super Mario Bros. had a rather generic story and it's the most well known video game.

Sometimes, it is better to follow the K.I.S.S. method (Keep It Simple Stupid), or else a story that strives to be complex just becomes convoluted.

Sounds interesting enough....

I like Ford's redesign, looks way better than the old one.
