It certainly is not a game with lots of flash, the story is basically irrelevant, the focus is on great gameplay unlike some other hack-n-slash games. The originaly poster was asking for our opinions, correct? It's just my opinion.
I found the NG series to be just about flashy graphics (the 3D series, I mean). If they cared about actual gameplay, they wouldn't have such a broken camera. Half the time you're attacking an enemy, you can't even see him on the actual screen. They obviously don't care about gameplay if they've released NG, NG:B, NG:S, NG2, and now the PS3 port with the same broken camera.
DMC and GoW series are both far, far superior in gameplay, camera, and story imo.
It's nice that PS3 (only) owners will get to play it though if they're fans of the series. I'm certainly not against 3rd party games being ported to every system. (When I said "I dont care if games are ported to other systems," I meant I don't care about systems losing exclusives. I care about games, not systems... so it's no big deal if a system loses or gains an exclusive. I don't understand why people make a big deal about it.)

For two reasons:
1. If fixed, it could end up being good
2. 1 less exclusive for 360 fans to brag about

Well based on the latest "ports" I am excited to see what we get thats extra, and what improvements they have made for the PS3 version.
I've completed both NG and NG2 so I would consider myself a fan of the series. The fact that its going to PS3 doesn't bother me a bit. I didn't buy it because it was exclusive to the 360. I just like these challenging action games.
What this shows is that 3rd party exclusive aren't really exclusive.
I have it on the 360 already so I won't be buying it on the PS3. As for caring, nope it has no effect on me what so ever if any game on the 360 is released on the PS3 or vice versa.

True. If the camera, textures, framerates, AND resolution (576p on X360); then I might give it a spin.

This was considered a 1st party title, because MS published it (like Gears).
