All flash no substance?? What? You do realize this series has perhaps the most responsive combat system, right? It certainly is not a game with lots of flash, the story is basically irrelevant, the focus is on great gameplay unlike some other hack-n-slash games. Anyway, it's a good thing that this game is expanding to the PS3. More people can enjoy it and if it helps the franchise being profitable it may mean there will be future games.

The originaly poster was asking for our opinions, correct? It's just my opinion.
I found the NG series to be just about flashy graphics (the 3D series, I mean). If they cared about actual gameplay, they wouldn't have such a broken camera. Half the time you're attacking an enemy, you can't even see him on the actual screen. They obviously don't care about gameplay if they've released NG, NG:B, NG:S, NG2, and now the PS3 port with the same broken camera.
DMC and GoW series are both far, far superior in gameplay, camera, and story imo.
It's nice that PS3 (only) owners will get to play it though if they're fans of the series. I'm certainly not against 3rd party games being ported to every system. (When I said "I dont care if games are ported to other systems," I meant I don't care about systems losing exclusives. I care about games, not systems... so it's no big deal if a system loses or gains an exclusive. I don't understand why people make a big deal about it.)
