Since in what, depending on the rate of progression thus far. I'm guessing that in 5 years from now 250 gig harddrives will be pretty much standard? Conservatively speaking that is, it could be much better.

My biggest question lies in stability of internet connection. What happens if I download 1 gig of a 7 gig game and my internet crashes mid-way while playing the game? Do I lose progress? Does the game stop? What exactly happens?

The mind boggles, but it's good to see digitial downloads progressing.
