If you like using a mouse, the Wii controls pretty much emulate the same experience. It sounds like you'd rather spend your time hating the Wii than even trying shooters on it.

Thumbsticks/analog sticks for FPS games are just a blasphemy of the genre.

But I would like to have the power of the HD twins along with a wiimote, would be sweet, specially with some kind of coil when playing shooters. I really don't like console controls for shooters, but we don't have an option at the moment.(except for multi's wich I buy in the PC)

well if you don't start to like shooters this gen, this generation is quite sad in games available.

Killzone 2 doesn't get a mention as the best of anything until its at least been out for a couple of months, actually probably have to wait until COD MW2 and if people are STILL going ape over the game you can call it the best of something, but not until then. Right now it doesn't deserve to be in a list of top games as its so recent.

Killzone 2 this gen is the best shooter so far, best graphics, best physics, everything.
CoD4 is also high up there for its online.
Half Life 2 deserves a mension, as does Doom + Quake
