Check out the Nyko Perfect Shot- completely designed like a white 9 mm Glock pistol, very accurate too.
If you like using a mouse, the Wii controls pretty much emulate the same experience. It sounds like you'd rather spend your time hating the Wii than even trying shooters on it.
Thumbsticks/analog sticks for FPS games are just a blasphemy of the genre.
