You should be beaten, burned to ashes then someone should throw your ashes from a plane

this game looks great.

But it looks just like Bioshock 1...

I loved Bioshock! Can't wait to sink my teeth into this one.

most anticipated game in 2009 for me

the story looks like it's going to be little generic and not as deep as the first game, but the gameplay looks great as always

although I know it's not going to be like Bioshock or even near it but i'd still buy it

Huge fail. This game just screamed "prequel".

New Years Eve, 1959. Who the fuck doesn't want to see what went down that night?

The original game's biggest failure was the last 1/3 of the game and switching antagonists from a creepy old egomaniac to a power-hungry supertool. Now it appears the devs have gone even further into the shallow end of the gene pool and put some wannabe Samus Aran in charge of Rapture.

I am bitterly disappointed. The beauty of the first 2/3rds of Bioshock was its twisted realism. There were no super bosses, just a bunch of fucked up denizens of a societal experiment gone wrong. Now it appears we're in for even less intelligent fare than the last 1/3 of the original. Weak.

I cannot emphasize how much this stings to read.

That could have been a clusterfuck of awesome. I bet a lot of people would be talking to tape recorders as you pass by.

Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.

Exactly, onyx. How incredible would it be to walk through what might be the greatest game world ever created on the night when everything collapses in on itself?

Instead, it appears EA wants to turn it into an action game.

Gah, I am so pissed after reading this. I was sure it was going to be a prequel. It makes so much bloody sense that I want to slap everyone involved with this game right now.

Why can't anyone have the balls to create a game without bosses? It makes so much more sense (and would create a vastly superior story) to make BioShock 2 an escape quest on the night everything goes to pieces.

Grrr...
