Yeah i just saw it.It was slightly different to what i rememered but it was pretty close.

If the n64 used cd... ff would of being on the Nintendo Playstation, as Sony would of made the  CD tech. Sony has alot to be thankful for in regards to Nintendo. If Nintendo didn't backstab Sony... there wouldn't be a SOny PS. Thanks Nintendo :D So in theory... ff7 was always going to be played on a playstation :D

Well the console would have had Sony and Nintendo on it and branded under both and Sony want development control over Mario,Metroid,Zelda and Pokemon so they would have became Sony IP's.

What Final Fantasy game does not push for the best in gfx in it's time and age?  S-E don't have to say they want the best gfx,  it's the expectation that S-E have to make it the best gfx they can possibly make at the time. You have Seen ff13?  Don't those gfx stand out as some of the best gfx for rpg's on any console, which is definitely next gen. It's Obvious that you haven't played many FF games if you don't know about how great the gfx are?

If FF was on the Wii S-E's time would be on how to make the controls the best ever and less on the graphics.

What game on the nintendo Wii has pusshed gfx that even match the 360 or ps3? I have seen none. I've seen the psp pushed gfx that are close to the Wii. That is a handheld. People say GFx is nothing. Gfx are just as important that gameplay and storyline. FF incorporates it all. I really enjoy the art of amazing gfx.

I have played for many years and it is so great witnessing how the gfx's have changed over time. Drake's fortune is another game that looks good and I know I will appreciate. Alot of Wii gamers say that gfx are overrated.... only due to the console of choice, which cannot outdo next gen gfx. We all have our loyalties... I'm just glad mine will have mind blowing gfx I can enjoy, instead of last gen gfx posing as this gen gfx. Wiiiiiiii

Although I agree that this argument in general is pretty ridiculous, no FF games after VI had anywhere close to the best graphics of their generation.  Nor were they on systems with the best graphics of their generation. VII's graphics were terrible compared to things on the N64 at the time, other than cutscenes which any system could have done.  X and XII's were both outdone by things on the GC and Xbox... 

However, don't lump me in with Soriku.  I think this topic is a horrible idea lol.  They are a 3rd party.  They will go wherever they chose and we as gamers have no control over that.  They are not (and should not be) loyal to any one company.
