I'm almost done with this game, and I've played GTA IV about 4-5 hours since I got it. Why? Because I'm not having any fun playing GTA IV, but I am having fun playing GTA CW.

Is that really so hard to understand?

I'm having a blast with this game.  I think N.Genckel described it perfectly.  It takes some of the best parts from the 2D games and some of the best parts from the 3D games, and adds some of that DS magic.

The one thing I was gonna say I missed from the 3D games was the insane jumps and stunts.... until I accidentally found a ramp and launched over all kinds of shit.  It's a FULLY 3D GAME.  You can switch the camera angles around too.

I'm having a hard time doing anything other than selling drugs and scratching lotto tickets though.  I should do another mission.

RockStar forgot that their PS2 GTA games had ugly graphics, horrible physics, really glitchy controls, and tons of fun.  For some reason they decided that GTA4 needed better graphics, better physics, and less fun.  Chinatown Wars is putting them back on track.

Only thing I miss now is a good old GOURANGA! and some Debbie Harry.

I think we can all agree on this.

Infinite Undiscovery is a much better game than Chrono Trigger, because it's in glorious HD!

They are very different forms of gaming entertainment. So let me anger more people and say...

console gaming > handheld gaming

I think you've done yourself in with that comment, they're very different and therefore something like Chinatown Wars can be so different it's a lot better then even console GTA games.

Today I played GTA on the toilet, on a moving bus, and during class.

This was the way GTA was meant to be played.

This is a beatifully worded argument, indeed.  I always thought it was important to compare things like gameplay and factor in your actual enjoyment of playing the games themselves, but I now realize my mistake.  Thanks for showing me the light and helping me to realize that Vampire Rain is truly superior to Lunar Knights in every possible way!

Yes cause Vampire Rain received countless GOY awards and is one of the highest rated games of all time.

And was one of the most hyped into oblivion games and paid for the reviews, Gamespot 9.5 to 10 miracle FTW!
