There's a lot to wade through so I've cut out the things that repeat or are outdated and I've also bolded the most interesting parts. Also the oldest info is at the top
- This “Zelda team” is made of younger developers, it is explained that new faces will possibly bring new ideas to the series
- All that have experience with the Zeldaverse will be working alongside the new faces
- New Zelda is NOT a sequel to Twilight Princess
- The basics of the game is the same, the question is: Is Ganondorf involved?
- New Zelda will have a better soundtrack
- Trailers have low chance of appearing at this time (likely E3 2009)
- Wii team and DS team are intermingling
- Does the Phantom Hourglass team being on board mean Toon Link will return? No
- Will New Zelda be in first person? No, but the idea isn’t impossible
- New Zelda may have groundbreaking new ideas
- Production likely began 3 days after Twlight Princess’ Europe release
- New Zelda may have more motion control
- Midna may return if the fan support is high enough
- It is possible that New Zelda could go casual
- New Zelda will have its own engine, could use the Wii’s full power
- The rumor of another character and a “modern” Hyrule is addressed, those ideas were concept artwork and were eventually abandoned.
- There is a version of Twilight Princess in first person, this was just a test of a scrapped idea
- New Zelda could have scratched scenes from Twilight Princess trailer
- New Zelda could be based entirely on motion control, and possibly have one-on-one fighting
- Wii Motion Plus could be used
- New Zelda will appeal to both the casual and hardcore crowds
- Aonuma-sama will be part of the team, will be exclusively made by Nintendo
- Possibly two Zelda games in the making
- New Zelda is based on existing IP
- Possible release date now appears to be 2010/2011
- New Zelda could be at 2009 E3
- No voice for Link
- 1 on 1 fighting could be a cool extra, or only for a short time a la Ocarina of Time
- New Zelda will have a more story based plot
- ONM released some info about New Zelda in their November 21, 2008 issue: Team Zelda is still in the planning stage, so we wouldn’t hear anything until E3 2009 at the earliest.
- There will be some information about New Zelda this year, in some way, shape, or form.
- Last month, New Zelda was listed among 22 games that would drive growth in 2009, the list’s author later clarified that New Zelda’s inclusion was speculation on his part.(LOL analysts...)
- The patent found this week does concern Zelda, it shows there are ways for both crowds to enjoy the game. It is possible New Zelda could have a “scene selection” akin to DVDs.
- Miyamoto-sama and Reggie didn’t show very much interest in using Wii Motion Plus in New Zelda when asked in a recent interview
- In an interview with BBC News, Iwata made one thing clear: games that cater to the core crowd take 2-3 years of development–given that New Zelda is taking a long time, it probably will not go casual.
- However, Miyamoto hinted that E3 is not the place to show new games.
- Reggie assures fans that Nintendo hears them, just that their way is different–and that they keep fans’ suggestions in mind when developing
- As covered in the newswire, Iwata is to keynote this year’s Game Development Conference…could New Zelda be revealed then?

- There were rumors New Zelda could come to the DS, not the Wii. However, Iwata’s statement at E3 last year debunked that theory by explicitly saying New Zelda would come to the Wii. (I don't know.. I think we may see a DS Zelda before Wii Zelda)
- There could still be a chance a New Zelda DS is also in development
- Following PocketGamer’s article about a possible New Zelda DS, speculation of how Zelda would work with the DSi started appearing, complete with speculation of a Zelda calculator
- Last September, Reggie and Miyamoto were interviewed by Club Nintendo, a Latin American game magazine; Miyamoto reiterates that New Zelda is in development, this is why Eiji Aonuma was not at E3 last year.
- The interview again hints that two Zelda games are in development.
- Could it be possible a Zelda DDR-like game is in development? A sketch of a dancing Link seems to support the rumor. The sketch was supposedly given to IGN by Aonuma-san. It’s possible that the sketch hints at a new mini game, akin to Twilight Princess’ sumo wrestling
And dancing link? YES DANCING LINK! IGN were apparently given a drawing of a picture of Link dancing by Aonuma stating Zelda: Dancing Link when they asked about the next Zelda game. Was it a joke on his part?
A lot of speculation mixed in there but also some interesting info..
