I liked the style show to us in the original RE4 trailer. It didn't seem to have as tank-like control as the original REs. Really, it seemed like a mix between the older REs and RE4, while retaining the scare tactics of the originals.

Not a single game released this gen is as good as RE4 was.

My question is... how long is this game?

All of the reasons this guy has stated are ALL elements in previous games in the franchise. This guy doesn't know what he's talking about.

The story for RE5 is superb, graphics are not cheesy. This guy disses the graphics because they're on the level of hollywood, which should be a complement, but he says it brings down the game.

These are ACTION games with survival horror elements within it. The fight scenes are BEAUTIFUL within the game. I was blown away with some of the cut scenes of Wesker with Sheva and Chris, along with the fight scene with Chris, Jill, and Wesker. Absolutely loved it.

Great game. I've loved every single installment in the MAIN franchise RE 1-5. The fifth Resident Evil reminded me A LOT of the movies which I loved, but it raised the stakes. I hope the fourth movie is as good as the fifth game

Are you serious? RE4 took me over 20 hours... 24 hours to be exact.

Is RE5 really that much shorter or do I just suck and took a long time with RE4?

the controls for resident evil 4 wii version were better but resident evil 5 controls were not bad

I played co-op with my brother for about 8 hours straight and we still have 2 acts to go (We try to obtain every possible item).
So I guess total playtime will be around 12-13 hours (on easiest settings, because of my brother ).
