Oh sure, it's nice to have your pumpkins only take a few days to grow!

And yeah, it's neat when your tomatoes come in every day.

But part of me still wishes they had just made the growing times shorter in the first place and dropped all this Runey business.

I'm actually fine even with the runeys existing, but they seriously need a rebalance. It should:

1) Take them longer to die out (no need to micromanage daily)

2) Be easier to gather (I'm STILL not 100% sure if a runey is in range...and why do some of them float above where you can see them?! For that matter, why do most of them vanish when it rains?)

3) Be quicker to gather (the harvester's animation takes five seconds..each time)

4) Be much better explained (Hey look! I now have fifteen rock runeys where I only had one yesterday. Where did they come from? I dunno!)

5) Have a much smaller penalty for ignoring them (Are all your runeys dead? Enjoy taking 18 days for your turnip to grow!)


I get the feeling runeys were pushed in at the last second, so the developers never had time to fine-tune them. They're a sour note in an otherwise fantastic symphony.

The ability to shift them about without having to collect them would solve a lot of my problems, I have to admit. Especially if you could do it from inside a building, like the Clock Tower.

the only problem is little kings story is on the top of that list, and it ain't out yet.

god i hate these runeys!! if animal food was cheaper i would just kill them all and not grow anything. fishing is much nicer and then i have stuff to give to cinnamon.
or even if it was just that the plants grew slower but didnt wither. whole field of grass would have been enough.
an option to turn them off would have been best. so then those that want to deal with them can get better growing times and those that dont arent penalized and just get regular grow times.

anyways, only took a couple days of tomato juice for iris and the gate opened. ^_^. certainly easier than trying to fight through the snow dungeon.

bought all the equipment books...but dont have high enough skill or material to make anything good. not too sure what i can do easily to get my skill up.
earning decent money since i started fishing in the bottom of dungeons.

anything i can give cinnamon to make the hearts go up faster? i have been giving her fish and she is almost at 10 smileys but the hearts are relatively low...

For Cinnamon (I like your taste, by the by ) you can try stargazing (which often provides other bonuses as well) and giving her magic crystals (get them from the fireballs in the Lava Dungeon).

For raising your crafting skills, I either take a bunch of yarn balls and make knit scarves or, even better, I keep killing the chicken boss and making stylish hats. Keep doing these and your skill will slowly but surely rise.

will star gazing raise it only for the first time i see a constellation? or will it go up every time i see one?

Every constellation raises Cinnamon's LP (as well as the LP of the girl associated with that constellation).

Alright, I stubbornly still haven't quite put this game to rest yet, and before I do I need to know: is there a way to beat that f***ing Snake boss in his final form? He's too fast, takes too little damage, has too much health, and hits way too hard. I'm at my wits end here!

Also, what's the best pet to take with you on dungeon raids? The mini-dragon, or something swifter?
