That was just one example. The other examaple is Fallout. In Fallout 2 you could prostitute yourself for caps or kill chldren or a whole bunch of similar things. Did you se any of that in Fallout 3? No? My point exactly. It's a bunch of things that add up to a dumbed down and not as enjoyable game.

Gears was enjoyable for a few levels then it was the same thing over and over. We couldn't even finish (half way through ep 5) because it's jsut one courtyard with chest high walls over another. And I'm sorry Gears is NOT a TPS. It might as well be a FPS with shitty controls.

Show us even one original PC game serie that was simpler on PC and is more complicated on consoles. There is numerous games other way around. Deus Ex, Thief, Rainbow Six, Elderscrolls, System Shock, Fallout...

( Btw, Oblivion is nice example of crappyness of console controls when it comes for anything more compicated than pressing button more than once. )

deus ex 1 i liked alot , the sequel wasnt very good. deus ex 3 is multiplatform ps3,360 and pc if i rememeber correctly.

Yeah, its way too late already here and I am watching old Bond film while answering these threads. Anyway, didn't you doubt that games aren't dumbed down for consoles? Theres lots of examples of dumbing down, but not the opposite. So wheres your examples of games not being dumbed down for consoles? :)

(Oh, I got one more Command & Conquer series... :) )
