Oh and BTW, the X360 sold 29 million already.

Sony Stated they had sold, on January first, 21 million consoles, and had 21.5 million shipped.  Since then 1.5 million were sold.

 

Sony gives sold and shipped numbers, microsoft only gives shipped, but on January first they said they had 29 million shipped. They haven't said they shipped anymore since then. They usually ship 3 million at a time though, I think it's nearing it to ship more.

With infamous and god of war 3 coming, this year is gonna be AWESOME for the ps3. The numbers jumped ALLOT because of kz2, just think what a known game like god of war can do, ooohhh. :)



2 reasons for 360 sales.

Cheap arcade version, wich the mom buys for the kids.

And microsoft's wallet.

For Sony....it's not as flattering, but yes I guess congratz. The 360 has had far more hills to climb than the PS3. It has also had much more resistance worldwide and persistance helped it through.

God of war never sold 3.5 on a PS2 system. Kratos was cool, but the game wasn't as big as one might think.
