NMH was advertised on TV:

That is an european commercial it was never advertised in America.Ubisoft said so themselves.

That's a UK advert....(it even has the now defunct Woolworths at the end) and living in the UK I never even saw it. Admitedly I don't watch excessive amounts of television, but I still don't think this will have been aired many times.

don get your hopes up people. 50k seems reasonable and maybe even an excesive estimate to me.

Mrstickball is talking BS again, like usual.

No More Heroes is a commercial succes. We've been through this a million times, Suda even threw a party to celebrate its succes. It's the best selling Suda title ever. It shipped over 500k ages ago, VGC isn't tracking the game anymore for a while.

As for MadWorld, if it really did 50k-70k first week in the US like Mrstickball said, it would be a big succes. Most Wii games that sold that amount went on to go platinum or close.

I'm pretty sure MadWorld will be a succes, though the question is if it will be just that -a succes, or will it really be huge million-selling game. I expect the former.

I never heard the 500k shipment figure before, do you happen to have a source for the number?

From what I understand the Wii "Core Gamers" (all 500 of them) are spending more time bitching on Forums than actually buying and playing games.

Like most non casual Wii games this one is going to be more of a slow burner.

Hoping it will get up to 50k first week - anything over that, would be excellent.

Its been a *very* high profile game on IGN for ages, and its had nothing but positive reports since it came out.

Find out soon enough...

Hope to (your) God that it is. It would be a very good sign for sales to come.
