heavy rain it's too niche, but will be a better game, more polish.
farenheit developers after all.
Alan Wake it's kinda a shooter isn't it so just with that it will sell better but not huge numbers since it looks kinda niche looking too.

Agreed. If you really want to play some awesome games going Wii60 or PsWii isn't enough. PSWi60 is the way to go. |
Absolutely...
There's one thing though, maybe not all of us are physically capable of crapping money, so we prefer to bash on other people's consoles, in a sad attempt to make ourselves feel better for not having them all!
Quem disse que a boca é tua?
Qual é, Dadinho...?
Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!

Well, neither can I. I'm a poor college student and I find just enough cash to buy me games.
Stop bashing CGI ! (I support you!)
GO HEAVY RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Purely from the tech demos and trailers I've seen from both games :
Both will be story driven game.
Environments looks beautiful in AW but the animation of the characters not so. gameplay wise it seems to be more action adventure oriented, with TPS elements and probably a touch of survival horror. I can't help it but I sens a very cliché ending like "[character] was dreaming all along" or "[character] was reading the book"
As for Heavy Rain : environments looks good, and everything is interactive, character animation is very well done. Gameplay heavily relies on action & conséquence as I've played Indigo Prophecy I know what to expect. It will surely be very immersive, with some psycho thriller twist.

Based on what we've seen Heavy Rain will likely be more critically acclaimed, but Alan Wake will probably double Heavy Rain's sales on 360 alone.
Alan Wake. From what I've seen of Heavy Rain so far it doesn't look like an actual game, and they are going to have to do a lot more to convince people it's worth $60 while AW has a fair amount of hype going for it already. I mean, that's a hell of a lot to put into an "interactive movie" when similar games have a hard time selling at half the price.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
I have to go with Alan Wake because CGI likes Heavy Rain.
I exist only to vex him.
Tease.
Im more looking forward to Heavy rain because I loved Indigo prophecy.
Heavy Rain will be for adults only minimizing the crowd and there for the sales
thats why developers chose the PS3 because it has the crowd there looking for.
Point is Alan will likely sell better....but as said earlier Heavy Rain Will be A new LEGEND
