With the NPD about to release the numbers for the month of February what should the figures be for USA? The american numbers for the 2 days on sales were 359k units sold. So if Vgchartz are right what should the US numbers be?

Will be interesting to see how close they are to this one. The fact it has been out 2 weeks today and still no Sony press release saying the game sold xyz would maybe lead me to think the numbers could be quite a bit over. Guess we will see soon!

You get what you pay for with NPD.... ie very little if you don't pay them a few $1000.... and lots of info, but can still be late, if you do pay them.

Hmmm, thanks to MS delaying Halo Wars in the US for a few days, all of it's initial sales will go on the March NPD.

KZ2 on the other hand will be split between the two months and may not chart highly because of that.

So then here we are again :)

What were the VGC estimate numbers for KZ2 for the NPD month of February then? (i.e the few days it was on sale).

The number will be weak....partially due to split sales, but in general, because the game failed to deliver on the level of MGS4...even.

It'd be roughly 310-320k roughly in just America.

The NPD for febuary will reflect its first 2 days on shelves no more then 500,000 no less then 300,000 for US alone.

KZ2 is arguably the best FPS out on the PS3 specifically, and one of the top FPS titles on all consoles.  It may have a few minor issues, but is great (wait for my full thoughts after I am done beating it, and try multi a bit).  However, unlike MGS, it is not an established franchise.  It is like a new launch of a new franchise.  So, it would be hard pressed to see it delivering saleswise the way MGS4 did.
