The game looks great. I think what I like the most about this game is how you can jump off the buliding, slam your hands to ground and you could clear out a whole group of people with the electrical powers. This is definitely a good IP series for the PS3. I hope the game has some good first week sales. I would like Sucker Punch to continue this game as a series on the PS3 like the Uncharted series and Ratchet and Clank series.

So what if it uses TPS like mechanics for using the abilities. Is that really such a bad thing? Would you rather an auto lock on, or loose sparadic targeting?

The game is about being a super hero, what you have to go through, and learning different ways to manipulate your powers. When thinking of the XMEN universe, the mutants usually have a particular skill, control of fire, telekenisis, etc. That one skill is then manipulated to create many different ability.

Thats the games purpose and I think it hits that right on the nose.

You don't have to be a superhero.

well...a couple things that have bugged me about the game are...there is a nuclear explosion and he gains the ability to control electricity - which comes off illogical to me. secondly how the character moves really disturbs me - it looks like they were making another Sly game originally and then pasted a different skin on him. and it doesnt work as a human.

when i first heard about it, i was thinking something like crackdown with electricity(a good thing). but the videos since have turned me off of it.

which is also the other aspect of the game. The decision to either use your abilities for good or personal gain, a frequent issue that would arise in a super being's life.

I'm liking those electric spark effects. The way they bounce off the ground and surfaces looks amazing.

They look similar to the bright yellow sparks in Killzone 2. I wonder if GG gave SP some help or advice in that regard.

This was easily the best InFamous trailer I've seen. I'm really hoping the player will have the ability to slow the game down as shown. Be it an unlockable after you beat the game, or an ability in-game. I want it!

ok...i think i like it even less now.

Actually it's .. something he is carrying in his backpack or something.. hes a bike messenger or something.. and the package is what causes the explosion.. i think
