when i first heard about it, i was thinking something like crackdown with electricity(a good thing). but the videos since have turned me off of it.

 

There isn't a nuclear explosion, he IS the explosion. Why he gets electric powers and goes KABLOOM, has not been said yet.

Actually it's .. something he is carrying in his backpack or something.. hes a bike messenger or something.. and the package is what causes the explosion.. i think
