Forums - Sales - 360v PS3 gap charts updated for Feb

The channels aren't stuffed with PS3s around here (and never were) and if that's not the case elsewhere, then we compare the upcoming sold to retail data for March 2009 for both companies, I don't think people can indefinately claim 1 million extra PS3s on the shelves, that's just to big of an additional stock compared to the 360, which BTW is channel stuffed around here considering there are still plenty of holiday offer 360s lying around unsold.

Its very convienient there are no PS3's on that shelf where you live but plenty of 360's. Basically its probably complete rubbish your spouting.

Being a cricket fan is much simpler and more fun

@ seece

There are enough 80 GB Killzone 2 PS3 bundles around here, but the various 360 models and bundles are equally well stocked at shops yet is certainly selling slower.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

Again so you say ... I see no 360's and plenty of PS3's in my local electrical retailers .... I'll never use that in an argument though because its pointless.

Not to mention you live in the Netherlands .... hardly follows trends with the bigger countrys UK/US

Neither does the rest of the world, which is a bigger factor than the NA/UK (and Australia) which show different trends from pretty much the rest of the world.

Thats not to say they follow suit with the sales trends in the Netherlands.

And I wasn't saying that, however if the Netherlands is over or under supplied Sony will distribute more or less units to the Netherlands (as retailers order fewer or more units), that probably means other EU markets like Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, France, etc may get more or less units.

I swear sometimes it seems like MikeB just argues for the sake of arguing. How can you use anecdotal evidence from the Netherlands to tell us about trends in major markets?

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Like I said, all you have to go by is that local store near you. The lead is 8 million and Sony stuffed the channel.

You must have misread, better reread what was actually stated.
