*sigh* have you ever noticed that people who deny global warming don't make structured arguments? It's like, 'well here's the proof it is happening' to which they reply 'I disregard your evidence, I don't want to read such horrible things'... It's like having an argument with a brick wall. Or better yet a young earth creationist.
The past two years in Britain we have not had a summer, it has been record rainfalls two years in a row, and before that we had three record breaking heat waves three years in a row. That doesn't just happen by chance that you have two years in a row like that. The reason it happened was that the 'en nino', the phenomena that gives Britain it's heat and cold spells had shifted each year due to extreme change in temperatures. this was a direct effect of climate change. And this wont stop, this year, will bring rain and floods again, and next year, and the year after that.
"Europe
Rains have swept Europe in the past week, bringing misery to summer holiday-makers.
* On Russia's Black Sea coast, up to 58 people have been killed and 1,500 evacuated in torrential rains and flooding
* Seven people are reported killed in Romania, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic as floods sweep across central and eastern Europe. Austria is suffering its worst floods in over a century.
* In the UK, firefighters have evacuated flooded homes along the north-east cost of England
* On the Italian holiday island of Capri, houses and a shopping centre have been engulfed in mud following torrential rains
* The Spanish region of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands have also been experiencing downpours."

In spring 2007, the British MetOffice issued a forecast for a warm summer with periods of very hot weather which has implications for people's health. Open it here
As it turned out, the summer in Britain rained away, and the floods made news in many countries. The eleven major rain and flood events all occurred on the day we had forecast, but the one on August 5th-9th took a more northerly track than we forecast, and did not cause floods in all but the northernmost part of Britain as we had forecast, but only in Scotland.
Update 6.1.2008: The British MetOffice congratulate themselves on their short forecasts for the rains and floods. Open their statement here'

Have you noticed that in this thread it has been Americans denying it and Europeans supporting it? that's because Americans traditionally have refused to accept it and are stubborn. Where as we have seen the extreme weather all ready and we will laugh at you when you beg to come to Europe where we have accepted and prepared and you are all too warn and suffering from droughts because the water around you that has claimed your land is poisonous.
